There are no words that can express how devastating the results of a medical error can be, especially if it could have been prevented.
I’ve dedicated my professional life to improving patient safety in the US healthcare system and need your help. Although our first book, Fatal Care, is complete, this is just the start. We will continue to chronicle examples of healthcare gone wrong. Our goal is nothing short of affecting positive change ... and saving lives.
As a physician, I know how difficult it is to bring forth good from pain and suffering, but this is exactly what I am asking you to do. We will continue to publish medical error cases, right here on this website.
